Farming 2008

We have been busy farming again this summer. From wheat to hay to soybeans, the boys have been busy. Travis is in the tractor moving bales. And the last pic is the view I had of our new farm while I was watching Trav move bales. Isn't it pretty?

Who's the dummy?

This is no dummy. This is our friend Elder Hutchinson. We were wishing we could celebrate his birthday with him, so we decided to make a dummy Hutch. The kids all thought about what they would do if he were here, and they decided that a good day of rule-breaking was what they would do!

Is this fun or what? Travis and Cody got to preg-check for the first time last winter. Brian was glad to get help from Elder Hutchinson. Working cattle isn't always easy, but at some point it is fun. Right Brian?

Elder Hutchinson took a turn preg-checking while he was here. I'm glad he was wearing a glove!

Elder Watson found out how to preg-check while he was here. He was the first one of us to try it. Way to go Watson!

Elder Watson learned a few things in Missouri. Here he learns to be a great tail-holder. It was his favorite job!!!

Our Great Missionaries
